The 24th of February 2022 affects all Danube-Networkers very much; it is one year after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, which unfortunately continues. During this year, there was a lot of suffering but also a lot of solidarity.
During our international ”Lived Solidarity”: Come-Together Session on Sunday, 26th of February 2023 (18:30, German time), in collaboration with partners of the education network Danube-Networkers and the Association DANET e.V. we remembered the war in Ukraine, what it means for the people and how refugees were supported through solidarity projects.
Over 100 participants, refugees, helpers, and organizations learned how they experienced the last year. They shared their short examples of support projects in different countries. Different cultural/musical contributions framed the program.
