Project DANET – Danube-Networkers, Neighbours at Work successfully completed

In four national and two cross-national forums a lively exchange of views took place between experts and older citizens about important issues concerning the whole Danube-Region. Furthermore, the project promoted the idea of lifelong learning and civil participation of older people in this European area leading to important steps in the project partners’ institutions to initiate structures providing target-group related education and other related activities. The project was closed by a conference in Freiburg, Germany, where a resolution was formulated by the project groups.
