3.5 Poland: Have you ever come across a short observing documentary Anything can happen (Wszystko moze sie przytrafic’ ) by Polish film director Marcel Lozinski ? We Have In The SPIDW Project.

Very little of what the small boy says is particularly interesting, but the contrast between the boy and the old people, both in dialogues and manner is what makes this film shine. It is a reflection on the human condition, a story of life and death, featuring Lozinski’s six-year-old son Tomaszek and older people spending their time on the benches of a Warsaw park.

Riding his scooter, from one bench another Tomaszek asks older, very adult people, basic questions about life which they are happy to answer. The boy’s ideas of future and life are confronted with those of men at the end of their lives. https://vimeo.com/37451466
