Abstract: The first partnermeeting of the ODDA project – Open Doors for Danube countries for All took place in Bad Urach from July 24, 2017 to July 28, 2017. The participants had the possibility to make it in a wider range. In cooperation with Center for General Scientific Continuing Education (ZAWiW), Danube-Networkers for Europe (DANET e.V.), State Agency for Civic Education Baden-Württemberg, ILEU e.V. invited not only the participants from the ODDA project but also other interested representatives and multiplicators from civic society organisations from the Danube region to the qualification training “Creating bridges for Europe”.
During the seminary a lot of good practice was presented, tested, developed. On the web site http://odda.eu/materials/ are presented many kinds of materials and various methods of training.
On the seminar the participants discussed also the state of the art of civil society organisations (CSO) in the frame of Danube Region and Danube-Strategy. They constated that CSOs are not involved in the EUSDR as they should have been and that in times of fundamental changes in society, more attention is to be given to the important work of CSOs.
For this a Bad Urach Memorandum was adopted.
Programme overview of the workshop “Creating Bridges for Europe”, Final Report, and Bad Urach Memorandum are presented on the website
