From 4th to 6th of July 2013 took place in Belgrade a meeting of the Workgroup 3 of DSCF „Building Prosperity in the Danube Region“, Subgroup 1 „Fostering general scientific based education and lifelong learning for (older) adults in the Danube region and the use of new media”. DSCF-Members from 7 different Danube countries, most of them engaged in the educational Network “Danube-Networkers” reflected about the consolidation of Life Long Learning, especially for older citizens, in the Danube Region by building an Association on the basis of the experiences gained through the European Network “Danube-Networkers”. They developed project ideas to foster new projects on the European level. The meeting had been financed by the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung Germany
